I want a laptop that can run Linux with OpenGL.

I tend to favor nVidia graphics because I know the nVidia drivers work well on desktops, but I am open to other solutions.

I would like to set the machine up to run Windows XP too.

Please advise.

LC2440N and LC2540 from LinuxCertified have nvidia graphics chipset.
