Maybe someone can help me out:

I need advice in configuring my new notebook, doesn't matter, which distro to use.

HW:

- 17" TFT
- nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX (256 MB) PCI Express
- Intel Pentium IV 650 - 3,4 GHz (800 FSB, HT, 64 Bit)
- 2048 MB PC4300 DDR II 533 MHz
- 100 GB S-ATA (promise controller, actually RAID, because M$ driver sucks :mad: )
- DVD +- RW lightscribe
- some gimmicks more...

Actually, i'd like to install linux on this machine, but don't know how to setup without destroying the actual configured raid. I also need advice where to get specific drivers... :(
