Greetings all,
My first Laptop that I have gotten is the above model with 1 gig memory, 100 gig Hard drive Pentium 4 ATI radion 9000 chip ( if I remember correctly)
I tried to run Linspire Live on it but after the Linspire load screen came up and the bar went across the screen the screen went black and a white underscore in the upper left hand corner came up and thats all she wrote!
I am wondering if anyone has run ANY linux on this laptop.
It is a Toshiba A75-S2131
Thanks for your help.

Atheros drivers are not in the kernel, they have proprietary license. You can get them from madwifi.org (http://madwifi.org)

Ubuntu comes with the madwifi driver in them... so that is not a problem
